Enemies gun

The expressions of the aspirations of the soldiers were buried inside the minds of young children.
Soldiers who wore their medals proudly and marched in synchronized units.
All hearts beat as one, all fears set aside and everyone’s pride flew high.
Smiling was not permitted since it would show emotion.
Tears were not encouraged since it would show intimidation.
Rahs and Horahs were accepted since it showed bravery and passion.
Led by one man and one voice, high hopes were made for victory.
The General was somehow a trader, giving secrets and tactics away.
He rode his men into their destiny.
All died but one, a young boy by the name of Clinton who tells this tale for years to come and how the general was indeed the enemies gun!
